Each organization is different and may require more or less management of activities as required by the grantor. The list below represented the most common activates that must be managed.
- Complying with all the terms of the contract or agreement
- Using due-diligence in complying with the reporting requirements throughout the grant period
- Fulfilling financial reporting requirements
- Accounting for grant funds received and the expenditures of those grant funds
- Conducting Grant Management process efficiently, effectively and accurately
- Tracking program deliverables – Direct Program activities, employee and/or consultant contribution to those activities, Activity statistics and outcomes
- Making requests for changes prior to the end of the project, grant period, if necessary
- Submitting final reports in a timely manner
- Following grant close-out procedures as defined by the grantor (See agreement or contract)
